LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Thursday was the final dress rehearsal for Lafayette Jefferson High School students performing in Peter Pan the musical this weekend.

Music Director John Satterfield said the musical will be a very complex show with special effects, live music and even flying actors and actresses.

"There is quite a bit of difficulty with the flying effects, with the combat, the timing of lines between the stage and orchestra,"  Satterfield said. "It's pretty difficult."

The students involved said they were very excited and feel honored to be a part of such a big production.

"Coming into music my freshman year, I did not anticipate how I would play such a role in a huge production." Captain Hook actor Connor McCormick said.

"It's been amazing," Peter Pan actress Elana Fiorini said. "It's been my dream. It always has been, to play Peter. It's been beautiful."
