Indiana (WLFI) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a road work moratorium beginning Tuesday evening, July 3 until Thursday morning, July 5.
Wherever possible, road restrictions will be removed to ease traffic flow for the influx of holiday drivers. Some closures and restrictions will remain on larger projects that cannot safely reopen to traffic.
The public can stay informed about any unexpected road restrictions and traffic tie-ups throughout the holiday by “liking” the INDOT Northwest Indiana Facebook page or “following” them on Twitter .
