LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Hoosier Lottery is giving Greater Lafayette residents a pretty sweet reason to grab a lottery ticket this week.
Wednesday’s estimated Powerball jackpot has increased to $500 million, and the Hoosier Lottery is giving players a few free chances to win the record-setting prize.
Beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday, the Hoosier Lottery will hand out one free Powerball ticket (a $2 value) to each of the first 500 people to visit Village Pantry at 3898 State Road 38 in Lafayette.
Players must be 18 years or older.
