WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - About 200 people showed up to the Indiana Veteran's Home on Saturday afternoon to cook out for the veterans.

The cookout was put on by the Odd Fellows of Indiana. The group helps out by performing odd jobs throughout town.

This is the tenth year the group has put on the event. John Pellam is a member of the Odd Fellows, and said cooking food for the veterans is the least they can do.

"It means so much because the veterans have done so much for their country and our freedom," said Pellam. "The least we can do is put a meal on for them. That's what we try to do."

Pellam said this is an annual event and the group looks forward to putting on the event again next year.
