LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette fire crews headed to a report of a house fire near Columbian Park Tuesday evening just before 6.
A house near the intersection of Main and Thompson streets was reported to be on fire at 5:50 p.m.
Crews on the scene say a small fire started between the kitchen and bedroom areas of the house.
No one was home at the time, however, a dog died in the fire.
10 percent of the home was damaged by smoke and flames.
No cause has been discovered yet.
