Hot truck delivers food to restaurant

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Indiana State Police pulled over a truck carrying spoiled food after it delivered it to a Frankfort restaurant.

State Police tell NewsChannel 18 the truck was pulled over a mile east of Interstate 65 near State Road 28.

Troopers have thrown away more than 1,000 pounds of food including eggs, carrots, meat products and other vegetables.

The food on the truck was not properly refrigerated.

State police say the truck was scheduled to make additional stops in Lafayette, West Lafayette, Monticello, Logansport and Rensselaer.
