TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Students at William Henry Harrison High School continued with a nearly decade long tradition to honor the lives lost on 9/11.
Just before 7:00 Tuesday morning, the teens displayed a number of flags along County Farm Road in front of the school.
It's a tradition that started 9 years ago with a group of students who were volunteer firefighters.
"It's incredible the outpouring of support we received many phone calls, people stopping by to take a look, to take pictures, letting us know that they appreciate that our students have been aware enough to do this. So it's been very good for our community I believe," commented Doug Lesley, school principal.
More than 2 dozen flags are on display at the high school.
