WEST LAFAYETTE (Ind.) - The city of West Lafayette welcomed a new healthcare facility Thursday morning.
A special groundbreaking ceremony took place for the IU Health Arnett West Lafayette Medical Offices
The building will be located at the site of the former K-mart on U.S. 52.
It will house internal medicine, pediatrics, expanded urgent care, and host of other services.
"Today is obviously a milestone in making that next step in the commitment in the community. We are really going to build this building and provide a better experience for out patients," commented Courtney Henchon of IU Health Arnett.
Construction will begin July 9.
The building is schedule for completion the summer of 2013.
