LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Democrat John Gregg announced his run for governor of Indiana.
The former state house majority leader, along with State Representative Sheila Klinker, addressed supporters at "The Other Pub" in Lafayette Tuesday night.
Gregg said he hopes to accomplish what Hoosier workers are asking for.
"All I hear from Hoosiers anywhere, they want to talk about jobs, and the relationship between good jobs and education. K through 12 and higher ed, and the importance of that and they want officials that get along."
Gregg filed his official petition to be placed on the ballot Wednesday.
