WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Artists were able to show off their skills at the fourth annual "Art in Bloom" event in West Lafayette on Saturday.
The tour showcases a variety of artists in five award-winning public and private gardens in the heart of West Lafayette. Each garden showcased is a winner of a West Lafayette beautification award. Participating artists were able to not only display their work, but sell it as well.
Art in Bloom chair person Lynn Layden said the tour is a great way to show off the work of local artists.
"It's something that we've put on since 2009, and it's a way to showcase the gardens that have one the beatification award," said Layden. "We're proud of the job that West Lafayette residents do.
The Art in Bloom tour is hosted by the City of West Lafayette and the Master Gardener Association of Tippecanoe County.
