FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) - A school bus was involved in a crash with a pickup truck this week.

Clinton County Sheriff Jeff Ward says it happened just after 7 Wednesday morning.

A Frankfort School Corporation bus was picking up students at a stop on Washington Avenue, which is also Michigantown Road, near Maish Road.

A pickup truck rear-ended the bus.

No one was injured.

Sheriff Ward says the crash was due to driver inattention and a medical issue because the driver of the pickup was dealing with a cold.

A second bus was brought out to pick up the one student that was on the bus at the time.

Indiana State Police was contacted for a bus inspection.
