LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Four people were injured in a crash at U.S. 52 and Stockwell Road in Tippecanoe County.

Sheriff Tracy Brown says the accident happened around 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

He said 20-year-old JoAnn Lindsey of Stockwell was headed east on Stockwell road, when she failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of U.S. 52.

A vehicle driven by 75-year-old Arthur Detherage of Frankfort struck her vehicle. Detherage was headed south on U.S. 52.

Lindsey and a passenger, 23-year-old Jordan Shaff, were taken to Home Hospital.

Detherage, and his passenger 73-year-old Jackie Detherage, were taken to Clarian Arnett Hospital.

Sheriff Brown says the north and southbound lanes of U.S. were restricted for about 45 minutes.
