Fire damages Monticello house

MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) - A fire damaged a house in White County.

Firefighters responded to a call at 5032 East Shady Point Drive in Monticello around 6:30 p.m. Friday evening.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire and is currently for sale.

Firefighters from the Monticello, Idaville, and Buffalo Fire Departments responded to the call. It took firefighters a little over an hour to extinguish the flames.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
