WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Construction on the Faith West project on Northwestern Avenue in West Lafayette could start as early as this week.
City engineer Dave Buck said the city will receive quotes on parts of the construction Monday afternoon.
Buck said they plan on getting the green light to begin installing stall line crossings as early as this week.
"It's just a really good time to try and get the storm lines in while theres a lot less traffic on that section of roadway. We should get better pricing but it will be less inconvenience and just so much more that we have done as we get into the more busy time of the year with Purdue's semester," West Lafayette city engineer, Dave Buck said.
When complete, the project will offer a fitness center, free counseling and a cafe, along with 16 jobs.
It will be located on the 1900 block of Northwestern Avenue.
