LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A Lafayette employment agency worked to resolve some issues with payroll Friday.

Employment Plus became the primary provider for contract labor for Wabash National on January 16.

Regional manager James Wells said there were some data transfer errors for their employees both this week and last week.

Out of approximately 1,100 contract laborers, a couple dozen people didn't get paid on time. Wells said he brought up 25 checks Friday afternoon to resolve all the issues Employment Plus had been made aware of.

"I want everybody to get paid accurately and timely," Wells said. "Hours worked are hours paid. It's stressful for everyone.  They are people who work very hard for us.  We're very proud of the individuals that work for us and want to do everything we can to service them."

If you are an Employment Plus employee who missed out on a full or partial paycheck, you can call the Lafayette branch office at (765) 446-0095.
