EARL PARK, Ind. (WLFI) - One of the first festivals of fall is underway in Benton county.
Earl park is hosting its annual labor day fall festival. The festival is in its 38th year and admission and entertainment is free to the public.
The big attraction Saturday was the tractor pull, also free to visitors.
Organizers said that the event usually draws between 40,000 to 45,000 visitors. Chairman for the festival Ron Hasser said the event is very important to the community.
"It's an honor for me to be the chairman this year, it really is," he said. "It means so much to our community wher you see this number of people show up. year after year. It's just great."
The festival is set up through Monday. Tomorrow visitors can expect to be treated to a large selection of blue grass music, as well as the auto show and demolition derby. The festival will end Monday afternoon with a large parade.
