MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) - Mourners gathered in Monticello to pay tribute to a lost friend and co-worker who drowned last month.

Back in June, 22-year-old Okeen Daley and his fellow Indiana Beach employees were swimming in Lake Shafer when Daley went missing.

Conservation officers found him a few hours later on the north side of the lake.  A vigil was held and balloons were released to honor him.  The ones who knew him say that they will always remember him for his positive outlook on life.

"He was very calm, humble and hard-working.  Everyone saw as someone they could be friends with," said Jenelle Solomon

"He always thinks positive.  He's always sitting down cool.  Okeen Daley you will be missed," said Mashell Lue.

Daley was from Jamaica, working at the theme park as an intern.  He was getting ready to graduate college in November.
