GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. (WLFI) - A building near Grissom Air Reserve Base caught fire Tuesday evening.

The fire started just after 5 p.m. at Hangar 200 in the Grissom Aeroplex.

The hangar is being renovated by its owner, the Miami County Economic Development Authority, to eventually house an aircraft painting company based out of Texas.

It's uncertain how this will affect the schedule of the project.

Investigators are expected to fully assess the damage Wednesday.

Grissom officials said the fire was contained quickly and no military assets were thought to be in danger.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
