Crews extricate 2 after Battle Ground accident

BATTLE GROUND, Ind. (WLFI) - Crews fought to rescue 2 people from cars after a crash near Battle Ground Thursday afternoon.

It happened on the 7300 block of Harrison Road around 3:00 p.m..

Tippecanoe County Dispatchers said two cars crashed, with a total of 6 people involved in the crash.

Crews had to extricate two people from the cars and dispatchers also said three of those people are in critical condition.

One patient was lifelined from IU Health Arnett to Methodist Hospital. The other people involved were also transported to either IU Health Arnett or St. Elizabeth East.

Police are unsure if alcohol was a factor in the crash. Fatal Alcohol Crash team is headed to the scene.
