MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A Crawfordsville teenager is recovering from a critical head injury, after a rollover crash Monday afternoon.

According to Indiana State Police, 17-year-old Brandon Ratcliff was eastbound on Country Club Road in Montgomery County, near Rock River Ridge Road, when he lost control of his vehicle at a sharp curve.

His Chevy Cavalier rolled over into a ditch, pinning Ratcliff's head between the ground and his car. Troopers said the vehicle had to be lifted to get Ratcliff out.

He was airlifted to Saint Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, and is expected to survive.

Two passengers were treated at Franciscan Saint Elizabeth in Crawfordsville. 16-year-old Tyler McRoberts, of Crawfordsville, had a possible broken wrist and arm injury and 14-year-old Amber Kader, also of Crawfordsville, had cuts on her arm and back pain.
