FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) - Clinton County has appropriated funds to help bring an Ivy Tech to Frankfort.
Mayor Chris McBarnes said Clinton County Council members found $200,000 they are willing to put toward Ivy Tech. The $200,000 is contingent upon the city matching the funds.
McBarnes said for now, it is unknown how much the total project will cost. More should be clear March 12, when the city expects to receive bids for the project.
The project is being paid for by private donations and city money. So far, $1 million in donations has come in.
