CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A new medical clinic is set to open near Delphi that will serve an estimated 3,000 people.

Indiana Packers is opening a free medical clinic for employees and their families Wednesday.

The clinic is a partnership between Indiana Packers, Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health, Unity Health and Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Indiana Packers Vice President for Human Resources Jim Hardison says the clinic will benefit the majority of their employees.

“Sixty percent of our workforce (will be) using this facility with their families,” Hardison said. “The savings to the employees is tremendous. That's why we're looking forward to having this open. This is a tremendous benefit to the employees.”

The clinic is located on U.S. 421 just south of Delphi.
