College celebrates anniversary with career fair

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A college is celebrating 110 years of serving students by holding a networking event.

Harrison College, a private sector school that has more than 4,500 students at 14 campuses across Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio and online, will celebrate its anniversary with an open house, career fair and networking event.

The event will be on Tuesday at the Lafayette campus. It’s open to the public, free, and located at 4705 Meijer Court in Lafayette.

If you’re looking for a job, you’ll be able to submit applications with more than 30 local businesses that will be on-hand for the fair.

Here’s the day’s agenda:

- Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1 p.m.
- Workshops for Job Seekers (Resume Writing, Budgeting and Managing your Credit) from 1 to 5 p.m.
- Career Fair from 5 to7 p.m.
