LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Car and truck enthusiasts had a lot to admire Friday night in Lafayette. The Lafayette Kroozers Car Club hosted a Friday Night Cruise-In at the Market Square Shopping Center.
Owners made the drive from all over the country.
West Lafayette resident Lyn Durflinger brought his 1969 Camaro to the show. He said he has done most of the work himself. Durflinger and his wife like to bring it to car shows, but the Camaro isn't just for show. Durflinger and his wife like to take it for a Sunday drive.
"We drive it on the weekends and things like that. It isn't a work car or anything like that. We drive it one weekends and just take it, if there aren't any shows, take it and go different places with it. We enjoy just traveling and seeing everybody's different cars. That is the name of the game," Durflinger said.
If you just can't get enough of these cool cars or you missed Friday's event, you can catch the Kroozers again Saturday, July 31.
They're hosting the Hot Summer Nights Car Show from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. also at the Market Square Shopping Center. You can find Market Square at 2200 Greenbush Street in Lafayette.
