WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A crash between a utility truck and a sedan closed down a West Lafayette road Wednesday morning.
According to our News 18 crew on the scene, a Frontier Communications truck was parked on Soldiers Home Road between Hamilton and Cumberland.
The driver was working on a utility box when the driver of an oncoming sedan said the steering went out in the car, keeping it from missing the truck.
The driver of the sedan was taken to IU Health Arnett Hospital with cuts on the forehead.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
Soldiers Home Road was closed from the time of the crash, around 9:30 a.m., and has yet to open back up.
