TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - The Declaration of Emergency Burn Ban, including fireworks, continues in Tippecanoe County.
Some citizens have obtained an exception to the rule, a permit from the State of Indiana, and that's causing some confusion when others see fireworks going off in their neighborhoods.
A permit is required. If you don't have one, you cannot set off fireworks.
The ban stands until further notice.
