LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Some elementary students will get an extra day off of school this week.
Amelia Earhart Elementary school will be closed on Monday, but it's not for an early snow day.
Lafayette School Corporation Assistant Superintendent John Layton said a water pipe broke inside of the school, affecting nine classrooms.
Layton said all other LSC schools will remain open Monday. News 18 will continue to keep you updated on when Amelia Earhart Elementary will reopen.
