LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - For a warm way to celebrate the holidays this weekend before Christmas, head to Ninth Street Hill in Lafayette this Sunday and Monday.

For more than 25 years, the Historic Ninth Street Hill Neighborhood Association has lined the streets with hundreds of luminaria, lighting the night with shimmering candles in this festive holiday tradition.

Lafayette residents can see the lights on Ninth Street between South and Kossuth streets; on Seventh Street between Romig and Kossuth; and on Kossuth Street between Seventh and Ninth streets. The display is set up in a horseshoe shape, so you can keep walking or driving by all night long if you want!

You can see the hundreds of candles on display starting at 6 p.m. both Sunday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 24.

For more information on the display, head to the Historic Ninth Street Hill’s website.
