TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) - Some hardy citizens didn't let the cold and rain stop them from bringing attention to a worthy cause Tuesday night.

It was the third annual Bras Across the Wabash event sponsored by K-105.

About two dozen men and women lined up, stringing bras over and back on the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge. These bras are part of the 2,000 that have been donated to the YWCA Women's Cancer Program.

"I thought it was really cold and I thought we were crazy for doing it but it's completely worth it for breast cancer," said participant Heather Mocny. "I just hope that breast cancer awareness becomes more inevitable with people and that women and men get tested more regularly."

The raffle winner was also announced for a pink Gator donated by West Side Tractor and Twin City Collision Repair. The raffle raised $9,500.
