ROMNEY, Ind. (WLFI) - Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire in Romney Saturday afternoon.

Authorities were called to the scene at 11525 U.S. 231 South in Romney around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Firefighters said two young boys were in the home when the fire started in a wall in the upstairs bedroom. The boys escaped unharmed, and no one else was injured in the fire.

Firefighters suspect the cause of the fire was electrical, but are still investigating.
