Body recovered from Wildcat Creek

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A body was recovered Friday in the South Fork of the Wildcat Creek by Indiana Conservation Officers.

A person was canoeing down the Wildcat Creek Friday and said he found a body in the water.

The body was recovered in the middle of Wildcat Creek by two Search and Rescue Divers from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.

Officers from Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department, the DNR and the Lafayette Police Department were at the scene.
