INDIANA (WLFI) - A local food bank is canceling a couple of distributions this week due to biting temperatures sweeping across the Midwest.

According to Food Finders Food Bank program coordinator Kristine Jansen, Food Finders is canceling two food distributions Thursday due to severe cold weather.

The distributions were supposed to be at Emmaus Mission Center in Logansport at 10 a.m. and Lafayette Transitional Housing in Lafayette at 1 p.m.

Food Finders will still distribute food at Evangelical Covenant Church in Lafayette at 11 a.m. on Friday.
