WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - If you attended the Tri-County Middle Senior High School basketball game Saturday night, you might have noticed something a bit different.
That's because the entire basketball team shaved their heads in honor of a classmate with cancer.
You may remember earlier this week, News 18 brought you the story of 15-year-old Wesley Corbin, who is battling Leukemia.
This past week, the entire high school came together and celebrated "Wes Week" in support of Wesley.
Saturday night's basketball game officially wrapped up "Wes Week," and throughout the week, students raised almost $11,000. That money will help pay for some of his cancer treatments. Wes was at the game Saturday night, but only momentarily.
