Barn catches fire in Tippecanoe County

WEST POINT, Ind. (WLFI) - A tractor fire spread to a barn in Tippecanoe County Wednesday morning.

Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s dispatchers told News 18 around 10:30 a.m., a fire from a tractor spread to a barn in the 1100 block of County Road South 400 West, near West Point.

Dispatchers say black smoke was coming from the barn, but crews had the fire out by just after 11 a.m.

Our News 18 crew on the scene says the damage to the barn seemed minimal.
