ATTICA, Ind. (WLFI) - Attica fire crews responded to a house fire Tuesday afternoon.

Crews on the scene tell us it started around 3:20 p.m. in the 700 block of East Taylor Street.

Firefighters say the cause is still under investigation but for now they believe cooking could be behind the flames.

Everyone who was at home at the time of the fire got out of the house safely. Fire departments from Attica, West Point, Williamsport and Mellott helped out.
