WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - AT&T launched a new anti-texting and driving campaign Tuesday called "Texting and Driving: It Can Wait."
President of AT&T Indiana George Fleetwood and Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller announced the advertising campaign in Indianapolis.
Fleetwood said the campaign will target all wireless customers, letting them know that texting while driving is not safe.
Fleetwood said that they they want to let younger conusmers, who are more apt to text and drive, know that texting and driving is not a safe practice.
The ad campaign will feature the last messages sent or recieved by people who have been killed in texting-related accidents.
AT&T is also asking drivers to fill out a pledge saying that they won't text and drive.
