LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The kitchen is heating up and turkeys are being seasoned for Lafayette's annual Christmas Day dinner.

Preparations are underway for Lafayette's 25th annual Christmas Day dinner.

The dinner will be held Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jefferson High School in Lafayette.

Committee member Jeff Lanam said volunteers start cooking several days before Christmas Day to make sure everything is done in time for the big feast.

The dinner is free and anyone from the community is welcome to join.

Donations are still being accepted and volunteers are still needed to make the dinner possible.
