Air Quality Action Day forecasted

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - An Air Quality Action Day has been forecast for Western Indiana for Thursday, June 28 and Friday, June 29 for Ozone (O3).

This includes Vigo, Carroll and Tippecanoe Counties in Western Indiana.

Ozone levels are expected to be in the orange or Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range on Thursday. People with heart or lung disease, older adults, and children should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion when outdoors.
