LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Holiday travel was off to a slow start Friday morning after an accident on I-65 near exit 178.
Investigators say a tractor trailer was hauling cars on southbound I-65.
The driver swerved to avoid a car in front of him, crossing the median and ending up in a ditch on the other side of the interstate.
No one was hurt, not even the driver, who tells NewsChannel 18 he was traveling back to Atlanta.
No other cars were involved.
Traffic was backed up for miles because of the wreck.
