WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Whether your taste is modern or classic, there is likely a quilt for you.
This is Quilting Month and March 20 is National Quilting Day.
West Lafayette Quilt Shop Owner Cheryl Drake says the appeal of quilting is universal. She said her business is doing so well she's moving across town to a new location in the Eastway Plaza in Lafayette.
Drake said quilters have a special bond.
"The fellowship you have with quilters is amazing. You can have a brand new quilter in a roomful of totally experienced quilters and everyone will help you and not mind one minute. They just come and they are so giving," Drake said.
Drake said her new location will be one level and handicap accessible. She is adding more classes as well as fabric, sewing machines, and books.
