TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A multi-million dollar school project got approved Wednesday night by the Tippecanoe School Corporation school board.
After the 2012-2013 school year comes to an end next June, a $5.1 million dollar project will begin at Wea Ridge Elementary School in Lafayette.
School officials said a 19,400 square foot addition will be built.
As a part of that addition, there will be eight new classrooms, a tutorial room and staff work rooms.
Construction will start in June of 2013 and wrap up in August 2014.
