TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - State Road 25 is back open after a fatal crash involving a van and a combine in Tippecanoe County.

Indiana State Police confirmed three people were killed in the collision.

Those three people were 62-year-old Daniel Fox, 40-year-old Stacy Fox and 15-year-old Demara Fox of Attica, Ind. The other three passengers in the car (17-year-old Demetria Fox, 13-year-old Dakota Fox and 18-year-old Margaret Carpenter of Attica) were transported to Riley Children's Hospital.

It happened around 5 Wednesday evening near the intersection of State Road 25 and County Road 800 South.

Witnesses told investigators the combine was headed down 800 South but didn't come to a complete stop at 25.  Authorities said the driver of the combine didn't see the van as he crossed the road.

Three people in the van were killed and three others sent to the hospital.  The driver of the combine was not injured.

Deputies said drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors, but toxicology results are pending.  No citations have been issued, but the crash remains under investigation.
