BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - The Indiana Department of Transportation said 20-minutes closures will begin Friday night on I-65 in Boone County.

Crews will be demolishing the remainder of the CSX Railroad Bridge between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The bridge is located between State Road 32 and State Road 39 in Boone County.

The next closures will begin Monday, July 2 and then again after the July 4 holiday on Thursday through Saturday night.

INDOT will allow traffic to clear before stopping drivers again. Police officers will be assisting INDOT with the closures.

INDOT reminds drivers to follow the posted work zone speed limit and to use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
