WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - In White County, members of the Republican Party gathered for the annual Lincoln Day Dinner Friday night.
More than 150 people attended to listen to speakers including State Senator Brandt Hershman, Indiana GOP Chairman Eric Holcomb and Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann.
Ellspermann says events like the Lincoln Day Dinner that bring the party faithful together provide many opportunities.
"It's important to both strengthen the party and give an update on where we are legislatively, where we are in moving the Pence Road Map forward, where the state stands fiscally."
Ellspermann adds she'll kick off a statewide tour in May visiting each of Indiana's 92 counties.
