DELPHI, Ind. (WLFI) - A 10-year-old boy was pulled from a hole left unattended by the power company Thursday.
Around 10:00 Thursday morning, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at 6555 West 200 North in Delphi, Indiana.
They found a 10-year-old boy stuck in a five feet deep, one foot in diameter utility pole hole that was left unattended by the power company.
The boy’s head was about one foot under ground level when they arrived.
The boy was removed from the hole and taken to IU Health Arnett for evaluation.
