INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Thousands of flights, some at Indianapolis International Airport, have been cancelled because of Hurricane Sandy.
The airport reports all East coast departures and arrivals have been cancelled; delays are too numerous to quantify.
If your flight is cancelled, it is recommended that passengers don't go to the airport.
If you're already at the airport when your flight is cancelled, walk to the airline’s customer service counter and call its customer service number for a better chance of reaching help faster.
Experts say passengers should check their flight status before going to the airport to avoid being stuck there.
Cancellations are likely to get worse heading into Monday night.
