EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Former Republican presidential contender Rick Santorum is scheduled to speak at an Indiana anti-abortion group's annual dinner in April.
Right to Life of Southwestern Indiana says the former Pennsylvania senator will be the keynote speaker at its April 18 banquet in Evansville.
Organization director Mary Ellen Van Dyke tells the Evansville Courier & Press that Santorum is 100 percent committed to its cause of ending abortions.
Santorum won the Republican presidential primary in Iowa and several others states last year before falling short to Mitt Romney. His Evansville visit will come four years after Sarah Palin spoke to the Right to Life group's dinner following her unsuccessful campaign as the GOP vice presidential nominee.
