Woman gets 473 days probation for prostitution, false informing

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A woman pleaded guilty to prostitution and false informing in Tippecanoe County this week.

According to Tippecanoe County Prosecutor Pat Harrington, 19-year-old Geneva Barnes will serve 473 days of unsupervised probation for prostitution and false informing.

Prostitution, a Class A misdemeanor, netted Barnes 365 days’ sentence. False informing, a Class B misdemeanor, got her 180 days. She has served 72 of those days and will serve the rest on probation.
