Woman charged for drunkenly stabbing husband with kitchen knife

PERU, Ind. (WLFI) - A Peru woman is facing battery charges after a domestic dispute turned violent this week.
It happened in the first block of West Spring Street early Monday morning.
According to police, 38-year-old Jacqueline Jaberg stabbed her husband two times in the chest with a kitchen knife.
Detectives say the couple dealt with ongoing marital issues.
Jaberg had a blood alcohol level three times above the legal driving limit at the time, according to police.
She remains behind bars at the Miami Correctional Facility.
