WLPD investigates armed robbery

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The West Lafayette Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred around 3:00 Sunday morning, near the Chauncey Mall.

Police said the victim was approached by four African-American males and was forced into the alley in the 300 block of West State Street, where the victim was robbed at gun point of cash and a watch.

Suspect number one is described as an African-American male standing 5’ 11” to 6’ tall wearing a dark button up shirt and blue jeans. This suspect had a one-inch oval scar on his right elbow and a small gold necklace. This suspect was clean shaven with short cropped hair between 21 and 25 years of age.

Suspect number two is described as an African-American male standing 5’ 11” to 6’ tall wearing a dark long sleeve button up shirt and blue jeans. This suspect is clean shaven with short cropped hair between 21 and 25 years of age.

Suspect number three is described as an African-American male standing 5’ 11” to 6’ tall wearing an unknown color T-shirt and tan khaki cargo shorts. This suspect is described as having short facial hair, short cropped hair and between 21 and 25 years of age.

Suspect number four is described as an African-American male standing 5’ 11” to 6’ tall wearing a light colored T-shirt and white and blue plaid shorts. This suspect is clean shaven with short cropped hair between 21 and 25 years of age.

The weapon displayed in this robbery was described as a black semi automatic handgun. No injuries occurred during the robbery.
